PRA senior middle blocker Molly McLemore has been named the August Athlete of the Month for the varsity volleyball program, helping the Miners’ off to a 2-0 start to the season.
Through the Miners’ first two matches, she has contributed seven kills and nine blocks at the front of the net, defensively.
Molly always comes to practice locked in and ready to contribute. It only is she coachable and a strong teammate, but she holds herself accountable. She has set a goal to be able to serve during games this season, something h she does not currently do. We have her milestones to hit during trainings and she has hit every one of them. She believes in supporting her team and that, when one succeeds, we all succeed.
