PRA junior dual threat Avery Stark has been named the baseball program’s Athlete of the Month award after a dominating month of March on the pitching mound.
Avery was undefeated for the mont, finishing 3-0 with an 0.93 ERA to help the Miners to a 5-1 March record. He is also tied for the team lead with 6 runs batted in with a .333 batting average.
Stark was nominated by head coach Mark Knudson, who said of Avery:
“Avery plays with passion and has emerged as a team leader, while providing position versatility.”
