Prospect Ridge Academy senior forward Noah Russell has been named the high school boys’ basketball program’s Athlete of the Month for February after helping lift the Miners to the No. 8 seed in the Class 4A State Tournament.
Russell is currently averaging 5.0 rebounds per game and was praised by head coach Scott Iten for his ability to keep opponents off the offensive glass and his leadership. Iten said of Noah:
“He is a leader by setting the example of what a hard working dedicated and relentless defender looks like. Noah is always on time, always prepared and always puts others before himself.”
