Prospect Ridge Academy sophomore MacKenzie King has earned the girls’ basketball team’s Athlete of the Month award for November. Serving as the team’s starting point guard, King has brought high energy on the defensive end and has continue to show vast improvement on the offensive end of the floor for a young Miners’ squad.
King was nominated by head coach Emily Stucky, who said of MacKenzie:
“She is off to a tremendous start this season, bringing relentless defensive pressure while emerging as a confident offensive threat. Her work ethic and leadership have already stood out through our first three games, and we’re excited to see her continued impact as the season unfolds.”
