Prospect Ridge Academy senior Genevieve Forsman has been named the volleyball program’s Athlete of the Month for October, capping her stellar senior season by helping the Miners make the Class 3A State Tournament that begins this weekend.
During the 2026 season, Forsman has broken multiple school records, surpassed the 1,000-career dig milestone and currently leads the Metro League in digs. Beyond her outstanding athletic accomplishments, Genevieve consistently brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic and encouraging presence to her team. She leads by example, demonstrates what it means to be a great teammate and serves as an exceptional role model for our younger athletes. Genevieve’s impact extends far beyond the stat sheet, as she is just as successful in the classroom as well.
Genevieve is a leader through and through. She is typically the first one to arrive and be ready to go, she steps up as a leader to hold herself and others accountable and she has earned great respect amongst her teammates because of the way she treats others.
