Prospect Ridge Academy senior Haley Zuniga has been named the high school girls’ cross country program’s Athlete of the Month for October after helping lead the Miners to strong Class 3A regional and state performances to close out her senior season.
Zuniga has been a staple in the Miners’ top-five runners all season, helping the team earn runner-up finishes at both League and Regionals and an impressive 8th-place team finish at the State Championships
Haley has been a varsity contributor throughout all four years of high school. Her kind, accepting nature and genuine support for others have made her a wonderful teammate. Her years of consistent training, perseverance, and desire to improve reflect her dedication to the team. We are proud of all she has accomplished and grateful for everything she has contributed to our program.
