Prospect Ridge Academy eighth grader Davis Randall has been named the middle school boys’ cross country program’s Athlete of the Month for October.
Randall, a three-year member of the Miners’ middle school squad, has shown tremendous improvement and a dedication to the sport. He was nominated by head coach Amy Slocum, who said of Davis:
Davis is always prepared to do his best at practice. If he misses practice, he runs at home. Over the last three seasons, Davis has become an excellent runner. He's a far better runner this year than he was in his first season with us as a sixth grader.
