Prospect Ridge Academy seventh grader Avery Kindall has been named the middle school cheer program’s Athlete of the Month for September.
Selected a captain for the squad this season, Kindall has been praised for her leadership skills. She was nominated by head coach Noel Steiner, who said of Avery:
Avery has stepped up to truly be the meaning of 'leaders go first.' She always puts in 100% effort into each practice - even after a long day of school, then musical rehearsals, and finally cheer practice. I am proud of the way she is learning when to lead and when to step back and let someone else have a chance.
